Your SEO Plan

Your SEO plan shows the summary of your performance in terms of website success. Probably one of the most important features of the tool, the SEO plan section shows at a glance the current status of your website optimization. It also tells you if your site has technical issues that you should be aware of, such as size, the speed, redirects, and error pages of your site. Each of these elements contributes to your visitors' experience, and if they are not optimized, not only will your visitors leave your page, but your search engine rankings may suffer.

It also provides you with tasks to complete in order to resolve any technical issues found on your site and improve your site's content and mobile readiness. As you progress, you'll get closer to improving your website and achieving your SEO goals.

You can also find highlights of your website's user experience in this section. If potential visitors see clear and accurate titles and descriptions of your site in a search engine search result, it will drive more traffic to your website. And once on your site, if visitors see that your web pages have detailed, up-to-date, and useful content, your site is more likely to rank higher. This is very useful for sending traffic to your website because they act as summaries of the content on your site, helping your potential visitors identify what it is about. Detected issues can also be fixed on demand, so there's no need to look for the next task to do.

And since many web searches are performed from mobile devices these days, it's important that your site is optimized for phones and tablets. Otherwise, Google may lower your rankings in search results for smartphones. Included with the site tasks section is scanning how quickly your site loads and how mobile-friendly it is. Don't be alarmed if your site doesn't pass the test. The tool will always give you an overview of any problems your site is having and how you can fix them.

Also under this section, you also have access and quicklinks to the following:

  • Your marketgoo score - As you optimize your site, you can see how your score changes. It is determined by a proprietary algorithm that calculates your site's performance on many factors, both external (things outside your website) and internal (inside your website). These factors are still weighted differently and include, but are not limited to, the completion of tasks within the SEO tool
