Exabytes provides Incoming SpamExperts for customers with an active hosting subscription.
Incoming emails are filtered through SpamExperts before reaching your mail server, helping protect your mailbox against spam, phishing attempts, malware, and other unwanted emails.
What is SpamExperts and how does it work?
SpamExperts is an email gateway filtering solution. Once your domain's MX records are updated, all incoming emails are routed through the SpamExperts filtering system before being delivered to your mail server. During this process, spam, viruses, phishing attempts, and malware are filtered out before they reach users' inboxes.
This article is intended for users who wish to enable our free Incoming SpamExperts service for their incoming emails, where their email service is hosted with Exabytes and their domain nameservers are hosted by an external provider.
Update Your MX Records in Your Domain Provider's DNS Settings
1. Log in to your domain provider's DNS control panel.
2. Add the following MX records:

NOTES:
a) Some DNS control panels require you to use a trailing dot (.) after the hostname. Please check with your DNS provider if this is the case for you.
b) DNS changes, including MX record updates, may take up to 24–48 hours to propagate worldwide, although most changes are reflected much sooner depending on your DNS provider.
Once your domain has been configured with Incoming SpamExperts, you can manage and monitor your email filtering through the SpamExperts Control Panel.
