Wordfence protects your website against security threats like hacking, malware, DDOS and brute force attacks.
Step 1: Login to your WordPress Dashboard
Step 2: On the left side of the menu bar click into Plugins and select Add New
Step 3 : -
Search for the plugins “WordFence” .
You will find the plugins name Wordfence Security - Firewall & Malware Scan
Click “Install Now”
It shall now shows “Installing…” Once completed head to the next step
Step 4 :-
Click on “Activate”
Upon activation, a new menu item 'Wordfence' will be added to WordPress Dashboard left panel
Step 5 : -
Proceed to the Wordfence dashboard click on to the Scan tab.
Step 6 : -
Click “Start New Scan”
Wordfence will show you the results once done. Free Wordfence plugins automatically runs full
In additional you may also manage the Scan Type
Also, may click on “Scan options and Scheduling” followed by enabled scan theme and plugin against WordPress Repo.
Then click Save Changes
Proceed with the scanning and take note.
